Brian Alfred : Frist Center for the Visual Arts

Brian Alfred's solo show "It's Already the End of the World" will be open on 21 September, 2012 at the Frist Center in Tennessee.

NY based artist Brian Alfred explores the impact of filtered public imagery--newspaper photographs, television advertising, and the Internet--on our perceptions of the world.
He showcases video animation as well as a selection from his series of 333 painted portraits elsewhere in the exhibition.
