2013: Teshima Yokoo House (Teshima, Kagawa Prefecture) opened
2012: Tadanori Yokoo Museum of Contemporary Art (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) opened
2000〜: In addition to solo exhibitions at national and public museums in Japan, he has made numerous presentations overseas, including the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art (2006) in Paris.
1981: he became a painter and started full-scale activities. He makes full use of various methods and styles to create paint-ings depicting various themes covering all things in the universe, and is highly regarded internationally.
1964: Leaves Nippon Design Center
Formed Studio Ilfil with Akira Uno and Ikuo Harada (dissolved the following year)
1960: Moved to Tokyo, worked as a graphic designer and illustrator.
1956: Joined Kobe Shimbun
