SCAI THE BATHHOUSE is delighted to present a group exhibition, Making Links: 25 years. Celebrating the 25th year since SCAI’s establishment, the exhibition showcases works of eleven visionary artists, and sheds light on chance encounters of these artists weaved through the gallery as a zone of confluence.

The list of participating artists comprises a dazzling constellation brought together by the gravity of a belief and lineage of people. Echoing our ethos, the title also suggests a vital function of a commercial gallery: to connect artists with audience, collectors and museum curators, while constantly negotiating thoughts and aesthetics of a given time and space.

On this occasion, we would once again like to renew our resolution and commitment to make links beyond the boundaries of nations and generations, and continue to serve as a catalyst for new ideas and dialogues.

The exhibition gathers more than 20 works by today’s most prominent artists never shown before, along with a compilation of interviews and essays previously published showing interlinks that may have otherwise been overlooked.

We hope that you discover your own links through the journey of the exhibition, and compose intimate dialogues that can be embraced within the mind of each spectator.
